Hi! I'm Eric, and I'd like to share my inflammation journey. Leading up to my 50th birthday, a week of indulgence took a toll. Despite no weight gain, I experienced bloating, decreased energy, joint tightness, and lethargy. Consuming a variety of processed and unhealthy foods caused discomfort, culminating in appendicitis. Hospitalized, I embraced an anti-inflammatory diet during recovery. Although tempted by old habits, a brief lapse caused discomfort. Returning to the anti-inflammatory approach, the following weeks were transformative. Despite no change in weight, my muscle mass returned, and my energy levels soared. The positive impact on my workouts, daily activities, and overall well-being was remarkable. As a result, I retained my appendix and avoided surgery, highlighting the powerful influence of foods on the body.
